    Tennessee Disabled Veterans Property Tax Relief. NOT an exemption — the state REIMBURSES county trustees for the property tax paid by qualifying disabled veterans on the first $175,000 of the home's market value. NO income limit (unlike the senior/disabled-homeowner relief tier). Eligibility: honorable (or other-than-dishonorable) discharge AND a VA-rated 100% permanent and total service-connected disability OR paraplegia/paid at 100% TDIU/loss of two or more limbs/legal blindness from service. Year 1 you pay the bill in full and submit proof to receive a state refund; in subsequent years you receive a voucher that pre-reduces the bill. Surviving unremarried spouse continues the relief. Apply at the County Trustee.
